Az állami média szerint a kínai hatóságok jóváhagyták a DeepSeek és a MiniMax globális használatra szánt modelljeit; a MiniMax az exportregisztrációt is lezárta. Az amerikai DHS ezzel egy időben elrendelte a DeepSeek eltávolítását a szövetségi rendszerekből. A DeepSeek közben nyílt forrásúvá tette API-ja inferenciamotorját is.
